Chrysler hat angekündigt, dass Ralph Gilles nun als President und CEO der SRT-Division fungieren wird, die auch als Marke Chysler Street and Racing Technology bezeichnet wird. SRT ist verantwortlich für den Bau von Chryslers Hochleistungsfahrzeugen.

SRT war schon immer Teil der Marke Chrysler, aber der amerikanische Autohersteller wird die Performance-Sparte zum ersten Mal als eigenständige Marke behandeln. Auf diese Weise kann die SRT-Abteilung die Projekte des Unternehmens (die als Jeep-, Chrysler- und Dodge-Modelle erschienen sind) unter einem gemeinsamen Dach zusammenfassen.

Zu den weiteren personellen Veränderungen gehört auch die Ernennung von Fred Diaz zum President und CEO von Chrysler de Mexico. Reid Bigland wurde auch zum President und CEO der Automarke Dodge und zum Leiter des US-Vertriebs ernannt. Bigland bleibt jedoch President und CEO von Chrysler Canada.

David Buckinham wird nun als Chief Operating Officer von Chrysler Canada fungieren, und Joe ChamaSrour wird nun für den Autohersteller in den internationalen Betrieb passen.
